I used to have my tree flown in from Austria but this year, I'm getting the one closest to the fence in Gramercy park.

The Christmas tree guys are incredibly rude. Not all of them of course, i'm sure, but the ones I have dealt with act as if they're selling the actual remains of Jesus himself. They refuse to bargain at all and will ignore you if you try. Not to mention their trees are always way overpriced and of less than sub-par quality. I grew up upstate, I know my trees, and these guys give my people a bad name... if they're even from upstate.

Maybe consider marketing to a broader client base, try selling them "hanukkah bushes" or maybe sell menorahs as well as x-mas tree stands. Wait, i'm giving away all the great ideas, i better get a cut!

Maybe these guys should think of a marketing plan like the "Obama Special" or just not inflate the price of trees, which they certainly have done in years past.
