I guess I'm part of the small minority that doesn't mind Pier 17 the way it is right now. I'd rather have it in its "ghetto" and gritty state than some second-rate version of the Disneyfied Times Square.

I don't mind developers working on in areas that need it, but please don't let them build anything as tacky as the proposal for the Seaport. Its terrible.
