#4, Lieberman campaigned with McCain frequently, was likely McCain's top VP choice, and spoke at the Republican National Convention against Obama. Oh, and he also has a vested interest in continuing the Iraq War since he's tied to companies that manufacture military equipment. It's one thing to make efforts to show bi-partisanship, but why keep a slimeball in your party, in charge of important committees AND who's part of the problem in Washington? The idea that reaching that magic number of 60 senate seats (3 races are still being decided, plus Lieberman) will clinch Obama' entire agenda is preposterious. Of course there will always be fellow democrats that don't agree, and yes, there are republicans that will vote for some of Obama's proposals.
