It's so easy to say ALL politicians are weasels, but Paterson has been up front to the public about the crisis and what must be done about it, despite the pain he knows it will cause. The fact the rest of Albany will not put up nor shut up makes them weasels.

Someone should take the deficit cuts out of their salaries yeah just like the presidents and ceo's of companies do all the time... the issue here is, none of the people making over 250k a year give a rats ass about anybody under them—it's pathetic. the very reason for this horrific recession is all of the over 250k people, the war in iraq, deregulation, right wing democrats (in congress) and psychotic gop'ers
