this is a case of bad luck while already taking a tremendous risk by driving f'd up in the first place. still, if it was her fault, then he was simply committing DUI

If the deceased actually did cause the accident then Leyritz should not be facing manslaughter charges. Don't care how holier than thou you want to play it, if in fact she was responsible then his charges should be reduced to a regular DUI charge.

The other driver already paid the price of drunk driving. Now it's time for this putz to be held accountable. Here's the lesson folks: once you get behind the wheel drunk, whatever happens, your fault or not, YOU are screwed - and you should be.

Doesn't matter who had the light. He was drunk and driving. Leyritz broke the law.
