A group of about 40 young adults in Queens celebrating a girl's eighteenth birthday had their reveling come to an abrupt end when one of them was intentionally run over by a car filled with three others who had already gotten the boot from the party. The group had rented a bus to transport themselves back and forth from Bayside High School to a Long Island parking lot where they drank and smoked cigars. On the bus ride back around 1 a.m., three of the party goers who had been invited through a friend on Facebook were thrown off the bus after a fight broke out and the driver caught them smoking. From there, they quickly hopped into a Honda Civic and chased the bus down. Eventually they tracked down and targeted 19-year-old Dimitri Arvanitogiannis and rammed into him with the car. Arvanitogiannis is in critical condition but expected to survive. The driver and his two passengers later turned themselves into police and are still in custody being questioned.

Look at the daily news picture. A guy with his pants down and showing off his boxers.
Giving a car to someone only to intentionally damage it. I'm sure his parents aren't too thrill.
Ey-Yo! Mah dick does mah thinkin for me bro! Bada-Bing just like Paulie Walnuts! Ey-Yo!
Cigars?
Really?
No. They Smoked Blunts.
Cigars?
Really?
No. They smoked blunts.
Yeah, the "cigar" part was funny. Let's use our heads here...
I'm so proud of our local boys.
Nothing screams douchebags like a party bus.
They rented a bus to go party in a parking lot?
What's so special about this parking lot that these kids had to rent a bus to go there?
this story has made obama cry.
How badly did their parents have to fail at the job that their reaction was to hunt someone down with their car?
"Hi Bill, how was the weekend?"
"Well, Jim, my son the dumbass is in jail because he drove over someone on purpose. I'll be shooting myself in head shortly to deal with the shame."
There are so many things wrong with this article that I don't even know where to begin.
First of all there was no cigar or blunt smoking done, so I don't know what kind of reporter got this information. Second, the bus was not rented to drive them from Bayside High School or to a parking lot. The group was headed to a location that was not printed in any of the newspapers. There were also only about 20 to 25 people on the bus. The group was not "on the bus ride back", they had the bus until 4am. The booted partygoers were driven back to their car, so they could leave the party. Dimitri was hit where the bus dropped off the 3 who were kicked out, they didn't chase down the bus. It would be completely ridiculous for anyone to get off the bus when they were being chased down.
I don't see how a picture of someones pants down is at all relevant.
I also find it ironic that lucyvanpelt can sarcastically say she is, "proud of our local boys" when everyone commenting here is heartless enough to make a mockery of this immense tragedy. I wouldn't be too proud of myself if I were a supposed intelligent, mature, adult but spending my days on the website of a news source that did a pretty poor job of researching the story, posting irrelevant and inappropriate comments. I don't know why any thinks they have power to make judgements about a situation that they are completely and totally ignorant to the fact of.
I guess it's apparent that anyone who would have anything insightful or worth saying isn't wasting their time on here, so were left with you fools who all seem to be, at least mildly, mentally disabled.
