Former Cop Shot at Waldorf-Astoria

One suspect is in custody after a retired police officer was shot in the chest following a botched robbery at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel on Park Avenue. The victim was working in a jewelry store inside the hotel and was shot after trying to thwart the suspect from stealing some high-end watches for the store. Streets surrounding the hotel have been closed off as the investigation continues. We hear that the Secret Service was on the scene too--because there apparently a foreign dignitary staying across the street at the Intercontinental!

Jeez. Time to move to Bushwick.

An arranged hit was possibly made to get a high official checking out security detail at the Waldorf.

Waldorf is where tons of high profile individuals hang out. The media has over the years reported on dozens of these events which have literally gone under the rug so to speak where just before an event a dignatary would go to, someone was found murdered right before they got there.

High profile means assasignation attempts, espionage and lots of other things that go on. Its a fact of life.

a jewelry store employee the target of international hit-men?! Sounds far fetched. Bet ya it was actually just some project dwelling ghetto trash trying to steal 'sum shit'.

I believe Spitzer was the victim of a assignation plot? I don't know if it was at the Waldorf, but I know he survived it.

If you mean the prostitute or Roger Stone, yeah he survived it.
