Answer is yes to no fare hike. :-) As soon as Barak Obama becomes President, the federal government will make a true committment to mass transit, not to mention the MTA is getting funding for the advertising revenue by significant players. If the MTA was in dire straights, they would not have extended an option order for brand new subway cars.

One of the ads in the car is wrong - it mislabels Times Square as Grand Central Station. Silly, especially for a train that only makes those two stops.

Of course, the target advertising audience for a street-mapping site is a bunch of subway commuters who either know their map by heart or use the ones right there on the wall.
