I never bought the official explanation for this crash. I still say it was sabotage (terrorism). Somebody cut a wire that made one of the engines suddenly go in reverse causing the plane to ""frisbee" thus cleanly knocking off the rear vertical stabilizer.

It is an absolute miracle the plane hit the ground at the angle it did wiping out only one house. There is a school right across the street too. As tragic as it was, it could have been a lot worse.

i think it's horrible that no one really acknowledges the people who died on the ground. it's horrible that all those families died on the plane but why does no one think about the father who died in the house the plane hit? all in all, this was a tragedy in new york. no one will ever be forgotten.

why? this event was truly tragic, and somewhat obscured by 9/11 happening a month earlier. just because they're dominican doesn't mean they don't deserve to be remembered. it was just as horrible to die in that plane as it was to have it crash into the WTC or the pentagon or a field in PA.
