Paul Rudd Talks NY1-Naming Tactics for Fantasy Football

ruddny11108.jpgIn a recent interview with Time Out NY, Paul Rudd (pictured) discusses the crucial decision on what to name his fantasy football team. He tells them: "I just decided that I’ll change the name of my team every week, and it’s NY1 anchors. So week one I was the Pat Kiernans. Week two I was the Annika Pergaments. Week three I was the Lewis Dodleys." When asked if there's enough NY1 anchors to go around, he replies, "Are you kidding me? I haven’t even scratched George Whipple or Budd Mishkin yet." Ladies and gentleman, just one more reason to love Paul Rudd. And guess who's hosting SNL this weekend?

he better not leave out the greatest NY1 reporter of them all, Roger Clark

Oh Paul Rudd, can I clone you and then marry said clone?

Does Gothamist get their TONY issues really late? This interview was in last week's issue, and the Prayer Booth item that Gothamist just got a wind of was published in TONY three weeks ago.

No love for Kristen Shaughnessy? Sure, she's no Diane Wiest, but I have to question Paul's judgment.

Also, Stephanie Simon and Ruschell Boone are both awesome people.

I met Kristen. She has the softest hands. But I'd want Shazia Khan as my tight end.

I love Roger Clark and Bobby Cuza is awesome too.

I love NY1 and its repetitive news bites.

ugh, Roger Clark is an unprofessional buffoon. Bobby Cuza was incredibly unpolished when he started, but is pretty good now.
