Last Night's Action: Streak Over

• Spurs 92, Knicks 80: Depleted as they were, the Spurs took care of the Knicks. They were without Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili but still found a way at home. Zach Radolph, so critical during the Knicks' three-game winning streak, was held to 15 points on 7-of-18 shooting. Jamal Crawford managed 28, but it wasn't enough. An 11-0 run to start the fourth quarter did the Knicks in. They play in Memphis on Wednesday night.
• Flyers 3, Islanders 1: Uniondale's Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum rightfully hosted this Veterans Day matinee, but things didn't go that well for the home team. They put 28 shots on goal through the first two periods but still entered the second intermission trailing, 1-0. Things didn't get better after that. Trent Hunter scored the lone New York goal, but that came with his team down by two. The Flyers added an empty-net goal for good measure. Colin Powell was in attendance and saw an impotent power play. The Islanders went 0-for-8 and missed on two 5-on-3's. That's no good.
