I tried to go to Batman about 10 years ago when I was in eastern Turkey, but was told I'd be kidnapped by Kurdish terrorists, which I learned later was alarmist claptrap. I even had a Batman mask I was going to wear in front of the sign and everything. Why must you run this story and mock my pain? And why is their mayor such a twerp?

I think they once had a bit of free advertising on the Daily Show, but I'd known about Batman from a Atlas for a while. Still, he's batshit-insane.

And Batman is the name of a PERSON... reminds me of this conversation from the movie Stand By Me Vern: Do you think mighty Mouse could beat up Superman? Teddy: What are you, cracked? Vern: Why not? I saw the other day, he was carrying five elephants in one hand! Teddy: Boy, you don't know nothing! Mighty Mouse is a cartoon. Superman's a real guy. There's no way a cartoon could beat up a real guy. Vern: Yeah, maybe you're right. It'd be a good fight, though.
