I used to head to hanger all the time since I do live down the block it was a cool neighborhood bar. I am going to check out Elsa just to see if they have a happy hour I cant afford to pay 10buck a drink

Booo! Aren't there any plain old bars left? I miss Chicago. There was a town of taverns. Here eveything's so prissy ane expensive.

Let's see... Gin & Tonic at Hanger bar? $3-6 depending on Happy Hour. Gin & Tonic at Elsa last weekend? $10. Instead of feeling like you're in the heart of the East Village it now feels like you're in a colonial cottage with Betsy Ross. We've been eager to check out the new digs since Hanger closed, and were afraid it would turn into yet another expensive pinky-raising money parlour. Oh Hanger how we miss thee

Not to be a buzzkill but there's no way all of these boutique(y) bars are going to stay in bussines base on a cute theme alone. Where do these people expect to generate revenue? 20 dollar martinis?
