The Dark Star Orchestra paid tribute to the Grateful Dead Friday night at Washington DC's 9:30 Club with a set of covers originally by the legendary band. Jersey City Councilman Steve Lipski then did his part to pay tribute to the band onstage by urinating off a balcony onto the crowd below during their set. He was arrested and charged with simple assault. A source from the club told the Daily News, "We've dealt with this man before. He's never peed on anybody, but he gets really belligerent and drunk." Lipski has been a councilman in Jersey City since 2001.

Politicians piss and crap on the commoners all the time. Anyone who voted for this psycho deserves to be treated like a toilet.
No party affiliation is mention; he must be a democrat. If he were republican, it would have been proclaimed in first sentence.
this is pretty bad and all but damn... i cannot stop friggen laughing.
Oh look, Ides of March is still trying to score points for the GOP.
The fact is that there's almost no information to be found about Lipski's affiliation except that he ran for mayor on the "Reform party" ticket. Brett Schundler apparently backed him (http://www.jerseycityonline.com/nov2nd2004.htm), so being Democrat is not so likely. Then again, he wasn't with a young boy, so he's probably not a Republican either.
aw, hell, the bathrooms at the 9:30 are a pilgrimage away if you get trapped up in that balcony,
..plus sometimes those floor rats can get downright rude, so who can blame a guy for expressing the dissatisfaction,
...plus peein, and most especially peein on people's heads, just feels plain old good.
i think lips gets a pass on this one, huh?
"What a long strange trip" to the bathroom this was -or rather, wasn't.
"Then again, he wasn't with a young boy, so he's probably not a Republican either."
You mean, he didn't let one boyfriend use his congressional office and home for brothel, and his other boyfriend working for Fannie Mae influence his votes to STOP REGULATION of Fannie and Freddie, so he's probably not a republican...
(hint, Barney Frank, DEM...)
