Everyone Loves Obama Win Papers

2008_11_obcohl.jpgAccording to its Twitter, the NY Times is going back to the presses once again to print another 150,000 copies of the November 5 "OBAMA" edition. This comes after the Times already printed 35% more issues (150,000) on Wednesday and reprinted another 75,000 after the demand. It's unclear where the extra copies will be sold--we guess at the Times headquarters plus maybe some more commuter hubs, like Penn Station, Grand Central, and the Port Authority. And you can get the commemorative version from the NY Times Store for $15--the store website is currently "loading slowly due to high activity. Please return later to order if the wait is too long. Don't worry: We have an abundance of Nov. 5 newspapers!"

Here's a great site to see the front pages of 100's of papers from 11/5...

When will these additional copies be released?

Great news!!! I just ran out of toilet paper. Im running out now to pick these up so better hurry before they are all gone.

the should release the additional copies in the city for the normal $1.50 price and not the ripoff $15.

The more copies of the paper they print, the less valuable each copy is.

Keep one as a memento and move on.

@Kojak

Believe it or not Kojak, not all of us are interested in getting this paper for it's resale vaule...

It's like all those Life magazines with JFK or RFK on the cover. Everybody saved them so they have no particularly big value but are always sought after nonetheless.

Everything you need to find is on the Internet.

Only a hardcore cult of Obama follower would waste money on this.

Newspaper? T-shirts you can wear with pride: CNN.com/electionshirt

Interesting to see Republicans are rich enough to afford $60 birdcage liner, since thats how much Obama Newspapers are going for on Ebay. If Mccain had won, the NY Times wouldnt even sell out its first printing.

If Mccain had won, the front page of the Times would have been bordered in funerary black.
