Barack Obama, John McCain, Sarah Palin and even Cindy McCain all appeared on Saturday Night Live during the campaign season...poor 'ol Joe Biden never got the invite though. Until now! Politico talked to the show's head writer, Seth Meyers, who told them: "Joe Biden is my biggest regret. I really wanted some quality Biden time. The door is still open, Joe." Meyers also added that on Tuesday night he "had an hour of goose bumps and then my natural cynicism kicked in. It’s not a great time to start being President." As for what happens to SNL now that the election is over (they got their highest ratings over the last month), there's good news and bad news -- Meyers says that viewers shouldn't expect any more Tina Fey cameos ("We all have to let her go back to her regular life now") but he pads the harsh reality by adding there will be "Lots and lots of MacGruber.”

Hells yeah, MacGruber! What better political comment can you make on where America is headed than a guy who has 20 seconds to deactivate a bomb and save himself and his friends, but instead is too busy bitching about his own problems or some other bullshit?

MacGruber is one of the best reoccuring skits in SNL history. Always ridiculous, always uncomfortable, always fun.
Yeah, that last McGruber where he offered himself for sexual favors to Josh Brolin was precisely ridiculous and uncomfortable. Jason Sudeikis's Biden imitation is pretty good too.

I am trying to imagine the explosive orgasmaphoria that was Tina Fey's mind when first she set sight on Sarah Palin.
McGruber is one of the better reoccuring sketches on SNL, although I hope it won't be overdone.
The bigger issue for SNL is getting a better Obama impressionist. I think Fred Armisen is very talented in other sketches, but his Obama is severely lacking.
I don't understand why they just call him MacGyver? I'm always like who's macgruber? and Biden will be the new Dan Quayle. They can't do black jokes on Obama. I'm betting that Michelle Obama will be the sleeper funny parody. They are going to play her omarosa style.
