  • Knicks 101, Bobcats 98: Nate Robinson's 24 points will get plenty of the accolades, but Zach Randolph (25 points), Wilson Chandler (18) and Jamal Crawford really won this game for the Knicks. Robinson and some others were happy to stick it to Charlotte coach Larry Brown, who was at Madison Square Garden for the first time since his disappointing year as the man in charge of the Knicks. The win helped New York even its record at 2-2 after consecutive losses to Philadelphia and Milwaukee. They visit Washington on Friday.

  • Devils 4, Lightning 3 (SO): Martin who? Well, not yet. But Kevin Weekes came up big in a shootout and the Devils picked up the win in their first game since announcing Martin Brodeur would be out 3-4 months following elbow surgery. Patrik Elias and Jamie Langenbrunner had the shootout goals for New Jersey. Elias joined David Clarkson and Jay Pandolfo as the regulation goal-scorers. The Devils sit idle until Saturday, when they visit Detroit.
