Beautiful speeches, well written and executed by a colorful and charismatic man now president elect of the united states of America. there is no question whatsoever many people feel a great sense of hope for unity and change by the election of Barack Obama. In the words of Barack himself, the time has now come for YOU Americans to be volunteers and progressive activists in Americas future. the time is now for YOU to do something as America faces very severe problems in economy,war,global warming and more. My opinion, in my 19 straight months on the net amongst all the Americans as i try desperately to uncover my science experiments to end global warming-war for oil- alleviate costs for energy- I have found no Hope and assistance from fellow Americans. I believe the change all ask for is because they all know inside something is very wrong all around them- it is YOU. YOU are the problem, and YOU are the solution. I feel successful and the only way to be proven true is to have my dangerous experiment repeated by a credible university for truth. Since it is very dangerous and only several universities even have the proper equipment, i have narrowed it down to Princeton university to provoke. I'm surprised how happy this election makes me. I thought I was a jaded, middle-aged NYer. But voting last night, as I pulled the lever indicating my vote for Obama, I realized how much we've grown as a nation. I was born before there was a civil rights amendment. I was born in a time when blacks and whites had seperate facilities. Yes, I grew up in NY, so my family didn't see it, but it was a reality. Today, we have a president-elect who represents so many people's hopes. As I jew, I dream of the day when a jew will be accepted as a candidate. I am sad that a woman, the candidate that I thought was better qualified, didn't get her party's nomination. But I am elated that our nation was able to see past race and elect Obama, and that my children got to see it happen.

i am usually not the most emotional of people but tonight was a night i'll never forget. i joined a large crowd of people outside of columbia around 116th and broadway shortly after the results were announced, we then paraded up broadway and across 125th street. i have never seen so much happiness in all my life. everyone screaming, random strangers hugging and high-fiving, families banging pots and pans out of their windows, trucks and buses and POLICE CARS honking and waving. i had chills the whole time. i hope to see the videos and pictures that will no doubt flood the internet soon.
