Suspected Wife Killer's Brother Arrested After Trying to Break into Jail

2008_11_twalsh2.jpgAnother odd tale involving William Walsh, who is suspected of killing his wife and covering up the murder: Walsh's older brother Thomas was arrested after trying to break into the jail to see William. Apparently prisoners cannot have visitors on Monday and Newsday reports that Thomas Walsh "sneaked around to a side ramp and tried to get into the jail that way... When correction officers tried to stop him, he tried to push past them and had to be subdued" (the Post says they had to use pepper spray and three officers). And the Nassau County police did note, "It's ironic that someone would get locked up for trying to break into jail

That fellow is SO Long Island. The whole constant earpiece thing, like if we go to elevated DEFCON I can be reached quickly, is pathetic. The number of people who you know never get important business calls but have those in all day long... schmucks. And this putz? The family is clearly a breeding ground for genius.

"And if he got in, what could he have done?"

Michael Scofield would like to speak to you.

"That's it - I'm getting my money back from the ear-mounted-invisibility-cloak salesman..."

As for the "it took 3 cops to take him down, how are they suppose to control prisoners". I don't think cops really waited around to see if which one of them can handle the guy alone.

Clearly genius runs in that family.

And if he got in, what could he have done?

It doesn't say much for the physical prowess of the jail guards that it took three of them to subdue one guy, and even then had to use pepper spray. How are they expected to be able to control inmates?
