Last Night's Action: A Good Day On The Gridiron

  • Giants 35 Dallas 14: The only thing that was going to stop the Giants Sunday was the Giants. New York stacked the line and dared the Cowboys to throw the ball to beat them and Dallas wasn’t up to the challenge. The Cowboys managed fewer than 200 yards on offense and turned the ball over four times as New York put this game out of reach early. The Giants improved to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the division with the win and face a big test next week in Philadelphia.
  • Jets 26 Buffalo 17: New York passed a big test, beating a division opponent on the road. It was the defense that should get most of the credit as they forced three turnovers and sacked Trent Edwards five times. Thomas Jones had 69 yards on the ground and a touchdown as the Jets improved to 5-3 and into a three-way tie with the Patriots and Bills for the AFC East lead.
  • Milwaukee 94 Knicks 86: Stephon didn’t dress and Eddy Curry wasn’t healthy enough to dress. Maybe they wouldn’t have helped, but the Knicks could have used someone who could put the ball in the basket as they shot only 37% from the field. Quentin Richardson led New York with 28 points.

    The Knicks are just abominable...

Is there a city interested in obtaining the Knicks franchise? I see no hope for them. Let's start fresh, with tryouts in all the city parks. The guys we get can't be any worse than what we've got now.

The Knicks are really confusing me. With an outstanding performence in the first game, and losing 2 in a row ... --"
