Woman Kills Baby's Daddy Over Not Buying Son a Coat

A Harlem woman was arrested yesterday after fatally stabbing the father of her 2-year-old son on Halloween. Adele Louis stabbed Darryl Taylor inside her apartment Friday afternoon. Taylor had come over to pick up his son, dressed as Batman, and take him trick-or-treating when the altercation broke out. Apparently Louis was set off by Taylor not purchasing a winter coat for their son, Daryl Jr. Earlier in the day, Taylor's mother says that Louis had thrown bleach in Taylor's face over his not buying the coat, which prompted him to call the police. But Taylor's mother says that he did not press charges over the incident because he "did not want to see her locked up."

Children who have been through these horrible traumas deserve to be placed in the best foster homes available. And there should be no time wasted for this. The healing has to start immediately.

Actually, yes. Now the taxpayers have to pay for it.

I hope that kid turns out OK. Getting him away from his mother might turn out to be good for him, or to have saved his life.

I know her personally and let me just say this she had to flip out because she is so quiet and respectful a really nice girl. It just goes to show that you never know what is going on behind closed doors. I definately feel bad for the son, in the end he has lost both his parents.

I'm always amazed by the amount of verbal aggression kids get from their mothers -sometimes fathers, and nobody can't say anything for fearing the mother going bazerk!? these NON FIT mothers should be charged for this type of aggression, most likely those kids will be as unstable as the parents. Just a horrible horrible spectacle of incompetence unconsciousness and lack of a strong civil society to save the kids from these beasts, for the sake of "not hurting" the mother's feelings...something is so terribly wrong.

I don't understand these kinds of people. a few days ago I was on the subway and this family with 3 cute kids and the mom looked like a homeless lady and she was telling her kids to stop fidgeting or She'd "backstab you in the head!" - These kids will grow up to be future penitentiary inmates for sure if their pathology follows suit.

Sound like it could be some serious post-partem depression left untreated. Either that, or she was always not right. How do people end up with crazy hubbies like that as if they didn't notice all along? I'll never understand that. I drop 'em like a hot potato at the first sign. Believe me, there are plenty of not quite right people out there. I guess someone has to marry them...
