With a number of politicians encouraging New Yorkers to attend the term limits extension legislation signing tomorrow morning, Mayor Bloomberg's office tells the NY Times that they are "prepared to accommodate members of the public [who want to testify] just as we have at bill signings over the last seven years.” But this is the first time the public can directly address Bloomberg about term limits; it was his interest in a third term spurred the term limits change. Opponents of a third term have been encouraging NYers to sign up for 2-minute speaking slots at the 9:30 a.m. event (at City Hall's Blue Room)-- you can sign up at LetNYCVote. The Times also points out that Mayor Bloomberg did change his mind about signing a bill passed by the City Council last year.

The city should be allowing the public to line up and kick Bloomberg in the nuts.
This is going to be an interesting week. The Republicans may lose control of the State Senate for the first time in seven decades. The State Legislature is back in session this week. It will be interesting seeing what pops up.
bloomberg has no nuts only a big wallet
"Prepared" meaning plenty of restrictions for folks who to choose to speak out against the signing.
