Actually the modern depictions of Jesus (derived from the middle ages) stems from CESARE BORGIA (who was very corrupt BTW). In reality the real Jesus would have looked more middle eastern. The myth of Jesus shares many similarities with many Solar Gods of ancient past.

maybe he had strawberry jelly all over his face to resemble the blood(?) either way, people over react. they are more afraid to offend when it comes to religion, but I am SURE there were a lot of provocative costumes that would have been more fitted for banning, like r1b2 said.

I don't get why he had to go home and shower if all he had to do was remove the beard and crown of thorns. Just remove the beard and wash your face in the bathroom? Where does the showering part come in?

handsomedevil wins. hahah. "Jesus would look more like Osama bin Laden than Jim Caviezel. " The image of jesus apparently is derived from a greek god. I'm not sure which but the image is almost the same. At least that's what I learned in catholic school.
