Man, that picture looks like it was taken 20 years ago! McCain with jeans and a hat? It'd be cool if they'd both appeared, I think. I can't picture him not looking awkward, I mean he looks somewhat awkward on the everyday stuff he's suppose to have mastered after all these years of service. The only sure winner on this is SNL.

Give it a rest. He knows he's not going to win so this isn't desperation. It's not like McCain is just going to go home and wait this thing out. I don't remember Mondale doing that and he got stomped like a narc at a biker rally. I guess in your book Obama going on the Daily Show was just a pleasant visit amongst friends and had nothing to do with trying to put the election away.
