Was it about 5-10 years ago that the 'celebrity chef' thing started to happen? Up until that time, there was what, Julia Child, James Beard and the Galloping Gourmet? This whole celebrity chef thing is manufactured celebrity. But then again what celebrity isn't manufactured... www.forgotten-ny.com, which is also manufactured

What is this with all this food fascination here? These chef boyardee wannabees is a bit much, day after day. How about focusing on affordable eats? Like street meats and under $10 hamburgers with fries.

I first wanted to ask why the fock would I listen to the ex-CTO of MS about food? I then read his wikibio, and I am agape at this guy's accomplishments.
