@Rocknrope: That "horrible year one host" (and I agree) was Katie Lee Joel, aka Mrs. Billy Joel, who also just won the NYC Wine & Food Festival's Burger Bash with the grilled cheese sandwich she cooked.

I'm surprised they didn't retire Simmons' annoying arse after the first season, just like they did that horrible year one host. Ted Allen is a much better guest judge than that squawking hen.
