Suspicious Powder in an Envelope Hits Reuters

2008_10_3reuters.jpgLast week, the police investigated the NY Times building after a letter with a suspicious white powder (later found to be harmless) was delivered to editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal. This afternoon, Reuters editor Brian Rhoads opened an envelope and a "puff of powder" came out. Reuters reported that Rhoads was isolated and "140 members of staff [were told] to leave as a precautionary measure while they investigate." Who's next--the AP? Or the Wall Street Journal--or one of the tabloids? Like the NY Times, Reuters is located in Times Square, at 3 Times Square.

is that like the prank with a penny, a rubber band, toothpick and baby powder in an envelope?
what's with all these terrorist threats lately, some people are desperate.

Probably good so-called Christian conservatives who don't like what they are reporting about their golden girl Palin or grampy Mccain

Letters to Chase, letters to newspapers.

UFOs to Canada and other locations. Was discussing a bank branch with lots of deposits which was a Canadian branch and the other person saw a UFO with several what he said were choppers following it. Got a weird call from UNKNOWN # when this happened. Coincidence, other person making up a story or reality, you be the judge. I leave it to you to make the opinion.

I meant a TDBank branch in the USA. UFOs are fast.

The feds should look into the McCain campaign... This seems like a typical GOP strategy.

it's only going to get dirtier.
I have a feeling there's mass mailings out to every person who's last name is not Smith stating they'll have immigration at the polls or warrant officers or marshals or sheriffs.
you throw spaghetti on the wall some will stick. or whatever the old fart said. why else is Mccain saying he's confident in his win?

MTAUSER: Please expound on this information.

Right wingnuts for sure. They've been holding back during the Bush years but now the GOP has all but given them carte blanche to act as seditiously as possible.

Why is everyone so concerned? The neo-libs have assured us that there is no terror threat.
