I don't think she brought the daughter up just to kill her viciously. If she had, she would have finished the job. She just didn't care after beating the poor kid savagely. It was negligent rather than premeditated. 2nd degree rather than 1st degree murder. Still murder, nevertheless.

Gee, the city didn't offer me any housing vouchers when I moved here. I guess that I should have told them I came from Mexico (illegally) and not Philly...
