Bloomberg on Choices, Making Up

2008_10_bloomb24.jpgMayor Bloomberg feels confident he'll be able to run for a third term. On his weekly radio show, he told John Gambling that he wasn't too worried about the lawsuits and struck his familiar refrain about why the Council passing the bill (vs. having the public vote) was okay, "I think the important thing is that nobody lost choice. There will be more choice, more candidates, at least in the mayor’s race.” The AP reports that Bloomberg probably won't do "campaign events until after the first of the year," because he'll need to mend relationships with opponents. He also said on the radio show, "I think you are going to see all of the City Council people, no matter what they said on this issue, they’ve got to now come together and help us find something that is good for their constituents."

Choice, yes I agree, time to abort both the Mayor and the City Council.

People, Don't let them get away with this slap to voters. Americans are dying overseas for our freedom and our democracy and Bloomberg/Quinn and the council have stolen our votes. Please vote them all out and don't donate one cent to their campaign. Also Include Lappin (Upper East Side) and Como (Queens) to the list. They voted no to the mayor's bill but voted no also to the referendum to have the people decide. Quinn had it all Fix. She have the votes to extend their jobs but needs the votes to stop the public referendum. Lappin and Como were part of Quinn's fixing the votes. I hope the Federal govt dismantles the city council.

King Bloomberg the King Asshole always gets his way.

Guess what? The chance that this complete asshole could win another term is very real. He managed to BUY a City Council...he'll manage to buy the Election as well.

The only thing worse than his f**king voice is that shit eating grin he has! Actually...I take that back...the sound of his voice is almost as bad as the thought of someone pouring DRANO in my peehole!

Come to my neighborhood Bloomberg and show ME what a great job you have done!!! The only thing that has changed since you came into office are MUCH higher rents, bigger pot holes in the streets and more homeless shelters with more sex offenders living in them....oh yeah...I also have a lovely methadone clinic down the block.

Still....I think Bloomberg is a douche....a used one at that.

I hope he chokes on his steak.

@maybrick, my second post here is deliberately since I need to say it again:

FUCK U, Bloomberg! and Fuck all those council members who sold our votes for their own interest.

the poor and middle class lost choice. you piece of work.
oh i forgot he's rich. i wonder if his parents (if alive) are
proud of him. and is this how they raised him?
trample on who ever to feed the rich ego and pockets.
next he will be handing eviction notices personally,
and proud to cut out the middle man too.
this man feels no shame. he will go to hell, thats
not soon enough.
