Devils 5, Stars 0: The Sean Avery reunion tour is making all the stops in the metropolitan area. Martin Brodeur is also making all the stops. He recorded his 98th career shutout as the Devils cruised and didn't appear to worry about the perennial pest Avery.
On offense, John Madden lit the lamp twice. But Brodeur just keeps moving up the lists. He's eight wins away from Patrick Roy's all-time record of 551. He's also five shutouts away from Terry Sawchuk's career mark of 103. Talk about New York-area sports fixtures.

My h-allergy to those f*cking fans, you know, has returned.
Sean Avery can suck it. As a Rangers fan, this is one of the few times I'll actually be happy about a Devils win.
I can't wait til Brodeur breaks that pansy Roy's record. Woot!
It's really a shame that the two goalies with the most wins in the history of the NHL are both raging douchebags.
Pretty talented Douchebags though.
I'd take a Roy or a Brodeur any day.
Brodeur a DB? Naw, with the exception his ex-wife might make the guy is standup.
