@millipede, People have no shame. You could be legless in a protest line and people don't give a damn except for their own self interest. This is why society is so bad and why we are facing such economic crisis. People do for their own good irregardless of the effect on other people.

What chance do these workers have of getting that settlement money? Even if the restaurant had insurance, their policy probably wouldn't cover anything near that amount. Trying to collect something directly from the owners would probably be futile. If indeed they had insurance, the fight has just begun.

I passed in front of the Uni Place Saigon Grill almost every day when they were picketing in front of it. I always made a mental not NEVER to eat there. So, never have, never will.

Good for them! I live a block away from the University Place Saigon Grill, and it's always amazed me to see people walk past the protesters and into the restaurant. As far as Nget is concerned, I think the fine is a good place to start, but he and his wife deserve jail time as well.
