Tonight take it all in with Cristy C. Road, Keith Lee Morris, Deb Olin Unferth with music from Bronwen Exter.
7 p.m. // Happy Ending [302 Broome St] // Free
THEATER: Eureka!, the new interactive happening by the legendary Living Theatre, is performed for an audience sans seats, inviting spectators to trade their customary passivity for liberating participation. Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's prose poem of the same name, the 75 minute show uses video, singing, dancing and celebration to "expand our knowledge of the universe." Writing for Time Out, Jeff Lewonczyk says, "there are moments when the revelatory power of the company’s storied history shines through, such as when the group splits off into a phalanx of marching soldiers on one side and a cluster of chanting monks on the other, with the audience stranded in between. It’s an apt metaphor for our world in general and Eureka! itself." – John Del Signore
8 p.m. // Living Theatre [21 Clinton St] // $20
