  • Senator and one time presidential candidate John Kerry made a joke about John McCain wearing adult diapers.
  • Plans for an eight-floor Chelsea "alien pod/steampunk fantasy" with four units seem to have been derailed by the market meltdown.
  • Marty Markowitz says the MTA's "largely abandoned" building in downtown Brooklyn is a blight and says there needs to be change in order for the area to thrive.
  • Columbia students have started a new erotic review-"C-Spot." Fleshbot (NSFW) points out the last time students started one, it folded after two issues.
  • This will be the last weekend of the season for the Red Hook Ballfields vendors.

Quite an amusing picture on the Fleshbot home page; apparently unwilling to make the trek to Central Park, a young woman has decided to make her own fountain. Quite resourceful.
