Shake Shack in Parkchester?? My Gram would have been so happy if it was there in 1972. Too bad she moved out in the 70's. When is it coming to Hudson Heights? There is a perfect spot for it on W. 177 and St. Nich....next to Pedro Gonzalez selling his juice on the street.. (oh in case you are new to NYC, Hudson Heights is where Washington Heights used to be!) WORD!

I went last night (Sunday) for the soft opening. It was great. All the food was equally as good as the downtown location. Actually, I think the fries may have been even better! The kitchen is massive, and tons of staff. There was plenty of seating upstairs and down as well. We caught it just before it closed (8p this week only), so the line was about 15 minutes long. But you can bet that the lines will be down the block, just like the downtown location. BUT, you can grab your food to-go and walk over to Central Park (on a warmer day I guess) just a block away.
