Dear Gothamist, I'm a restaurateur interested in obtaining advertisting/media package quotes and terms from your organization. My partner and I have witnessed firsthand the excellent coverage afforded other establishments. In an age where advertising has become so insidious as to blur the line between editorial and advertisement it's nice to see a more obvious approach employed. It's not our aim to perpetuate this heinous erosion of culture and media. That said, let me tell you about our new venture. We intend to convert the recent public pay toilet kiosks into small snack stands. They doubtless will fail in their current usage and believe that re-purposing will ensure more revenue to the city and better serve the public. While the details of the menu have yet to be finalized, you can be assured that we will serve a variety of tiny cupcakes, gourmet style mini burgers just dripping with down home bacon fat, and perhaps even bubble tea for the traditionalists. I want a Crunch-stellation concrete, so I will see if it's open this weekend. Also, around the corner is my favorite store cat-- Panther, at the locksmith on Amsterdam between 78th and 79th!
