Gothamist House: Come and Knock on Our Door

We have some more details about Gothamist House (there's even a Facebook page!), open during CMJ next week (October 22nd through 25th). The shows will run from 2:30 to 8 p.m. daily...and you'll want to get there early because we'll have a limited amount of gift bags each day (a reusable grocery bag from Whole Foods with goodies from Babeland, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Penguin and others).

So what else do we have to offer? Oh, just a gorgeous new venue complete with both a live room and a lounge (this won't be a dingy, dark, depressing basement venue in Manhattan!), DRINK SPECIALS, close proximity to the peak fall foliage at Prospect Park (stay tuned for a list of sick-day excuses to give your boss), Van Leeuwen hot chocolate floats and music...what more could you ask for? How about: it's FREE (no CMJ badge required) and there will be artwork by Sam Horine and Paula DiGioia.

Our house, aka The Bell House, is located at 149 7th Street in the beautiful Gowanus section of Brooklyn (map), and you can take the M, R or F train to the 4th and 9th stop. There are also a ton of buses that will bring you over (the B71, 75, 77, to name a few).
