- Cleveland 35 Giants 14: It’s been so long you didn’t recognize him. But, his performance was certainly familiar to any Giant fan. Flushed out of the pocket and making a bad throw, pressured up the middle and chucking it off his back foot, we have all seen “Bad Eli” too many times not to recognize it. Unfortunately, Monday night brought it all back as Eli was terrible, throwing interceptions and missing receivers as the Giants saw their perfect season go up in smoke.
And, don’t excuse the defense, a unit that allowed the previously offensively challenged Browns to move up and down the field at will. Tom Coughlin will certainly let his team have it and he should, they were abysmal in this game.
- Rangers 4 Devils 1: On a day the organization mourned the passing of someone far to young, another player who battled his own health issues stepped to the forefront. Aaron Voros scored two goals for New York and the Rangers shutdown the Devils to improve to 5-0.
- Buffalo 7 Islanders 1: After the Sabres jumped out to a 4-0 lead, the two teams engaged in an old-school brawl. Unfortunately, it didn’t do anything to spark the Islanders as the let in three more goals, on the way to a humiliating defeat.

Let's go Buffalo! YES!
New York hockey teams? There is another.
That Giants game was pretty bad. At least they got their first loss under their belt.
Thanks guys, I feel so much better now the Giants lost too. lol
That was pretty fugly, definitely an 8-beer game to sit through. Nobody was expecting them to win all 16, and if they had to lose this was a good week to do it, but it was fugly nonetheless.
At #1, see you Wednesday. We'll see what you've got against the Rangers.
Just stay out of the box.
Going undefeated is overrated because you don't see how your team comes back from a defeat. How your team plays after losing is something the coach should want to see. What the Pats did last year was stupid to me. If they would have lost a game during the regular season maybe they wouldn't have drop the most important game of the season, the Super Bowl.
