Palin Booed at Flyers-Rangers Game in Philly

Last night, vice-presidential candidate--and perhaps the world's most famous hockey mom--Sarah Palin dropped the puck at the Philadelphia Flyers' Wachovia Center for the team's season opener against the NY Rangers. And she got resoundingly booed. See the video:
Fans from the city of Brotherly Love have reportedly booed Santa Claus at a Philadelphia Eagles game, so Palin shouldn't feel too bad. But one woman protesting outside a fund-raiser told the Daily News, "I have two daughters who are Ivy-League educated. When we're given an opportunity to have a woman run for vice president of the United States, the woman we get is Sarah Palin. I came to protest because of my own sense of outrage. This is such a shame for other smart women who aspire to have political careers."
