Bushwick Fire Takes the Lives of Two

2008_10_bushwick.jpgFor the second time in as many days, a residential fire took the lives of New Yorkers, this one taking place in Bushwick. A 33-year-old man and a twelve-year-old boy perished in the fire that broke out in a three-story house just after midnight. EMTs had rushed both to Wyckoff Hospital where they were pronounced dead. It is not clear yet if the two were related or not. Yesterday a fire on the sixth floor of a Chelsea building left five members of a family dead while the sixth member, a ten-year-old boy, continues to fight for his life.
