<description>&lt;p&gt;Good.  Smaller flights SHOULD be cut.  Airspace, runway time, jet fuel, all are limited resources.  Airlines should stick to more profitable longer flights (i.e. the ones that are going to be able to bid more in these auctions) and leave shorter trips to modes of transportation that are more suited to them.

And if this means Shelly Silver can&apos;t fly from NYC to Albany anymore, good.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
