Yahoo's Political Dashboard has been showing growing poll numbers for oBama, since the debate It doesn't look too good that he defaulted on Michigan either. Amid this crisis, the election can't come soon enough. Some of that may be playing into the market as well, uncertainty about who is gonna win and what kind of economic policies will the winner take.

Rensselaer County is across the Hudson River from Albany County. There may be affluent areas, but most of the county is either rural and farmland, or Troy (the armpit of the state). And don't underestimate the incompetence and the stupidity of the county workers (NOT state workers) who were responsible for this debacle.
