" That says to me that he was found unfit to stand trial, and his attorney still wants another evaluation.

@shoshannah-- Yes, it's been a long road--I've noted that before that he was found unfit after being found fit earlier this year.

Whoever summarized this article read it incorrectly. Tarloff had originally been fit to stand trial, but his attorney requested another evaluation. Subsequently he has been found, by two court-appointed shrinks, unfit to stand trial. The article goes on to say that the prosecution may or may not challenge that.

So wait, we have to pay to keep another Psychotic murderer alive?? Great, now maybe our tax dollars can get us murdered, as soon as he sucks up enough of it to be "fit", gotta love it. Here's a new a suicide watch idea; Mix 1 part 10ft rope with 1 part shaky wooden chair, 2 parts Strong wooden beam, shake vigorously, serve chilled.

But he was "fit" enough to have been out in the streets to begin with. Community Mental Health and the shrinks that promote its false hopes are both to blame for this incident and so many others that destroy lives needlessly.
