Hillary Clinton Bests Sarah Palin (in Poll)

It doesn't really matter, since neither is running for President, but a poll of 600 women nationwide found that female voters think Hillary Clinton is a "better mom, role model and leader" than vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Some stats: 61% prefer Clinton to Palin (27%) if the two women ran against each other in 2012 and 35% think Clinton is a better mother than Palin (24%). Pollster Mickey Blum explains to the Daily News, "Palin appeals to a much smaller group."

And while the vice-presidential debate feels like it was ages ago, The Daily Show dissected it last night.

"35% think Clinton is a better mother than Palin (24%)"

Ooh, tell me the results of polls for other questions that are altogether irrelevant. I wanna know what poll voters think about whose hair color is more natural, John Edwards or Mike Huckabee. That's an important issue too, right?

I would have really enjoyed a VP debate between Clinton and Palin. Clinton wouldn't have had to pull her punches for fear of being called sexist. Palin has no gravitas. She wouldn't know gravitas if it fell on her.

Isn't anybody going to ask her if she knew her daughter was sexually active?

I guess riding your husband's political coat-tails for 30 years while he boinks the interns makes you a better leader, for a lot of people.

The liberal establishment simply can't stand that Sarah Palin accomplished things without their sacred seal of approval first. Meow.

The Conservative Establishment can't stand Palin's lack of accomplishments and failure to honestly explain her qualifications to the voters. Some of them have openly asked McCain to dump her. That means many more would like McCain to get her off the ticket, but won't/cannot say that in public.

if McCain dumps Pailin for no other reason than she's an air head, he will lose the election.

Wow, a pro Hillary story that bashes Palin posted by Chung-King. Read up neo-lib hipsters, you must learn who you should hate and who you should worship. Make sure you tune into SNL this weekend for your weekly brainwashing session!

"Isn't anybody going to ask her if she knew her daughter was sexually active?"

Everyone knows Chelsea couldn't get laid in a room full of drunken sailors.

[4] Oh, get off it. Clinton is an accomplished woman, with a law degree from Yale and more than a few achievements in the Senate. Palin couldn't get an advanced degree if her life depended on it. It took her nine semesters just to get a BA in journalism to become a sports reporter. Only a true partisan would think the two women are anywhere near comparable.

By the way, where are all these interns he supposedly boinked? You'd think a few would have filed complaints or bragged about it after he became president. And how has she been riding his coattails for the last eight years? Has he been making the actual voting decisions for junior senator from NY?

Even if the polls is true (it's not), it is not useful.
1. Hillary is not a candidate in 2008.
2. In 2012, Hillary will still not be a candidate if Obama wins in 2008.
3. Palin will also not be candidate in 2012 if McCain loses in 2008.
3. Only way for Hillary vs Palin contest is to vote for McCain-Palin in 2008.

I think Opinion polls are deceptions out desperately to influence the election.
4. Why can't the author wait until 2016 when Hillary becomes 72 years YOUNG to do the polling?
5. The women that love Hillary now are loving her after she is "dead" i.e. no more a candidate.
Is is like those who do not not support their mothers when they are alive but burn jossticks to their images after they are dead.

6. This article is written to fool women. To make them vote for a man rather than a women in 2008?

"Hillary Clinton is a "better mom, role model and leader"

Did they ask who is the better wife?

Not to mention this poll is pointless. Whats next, Who's a better dad, Joe Biden or Chris Dodd???
