- From the Gothamist Newsmap: A jumper down on Grand Concourse in the Bronx, an overturned auto on the Grand Central Parkway and Little Neck in the Queens, and an evidence search on Catherine Street in Manhattan.
- Last night, a water main broke on 6th Avenue near Watts Street in Manhattan. While damage was "minimal," a DEP worker and some firefighters were injured when they fell into a hole.
- In spite of the 7-year-old being severely underweight, an ACS worker testified that she was satisfied with Nixzmary Brown's living conditions shortly before her death.
- Parents of the women who were fatally struck on East 14th Street are coming to NYC to claim their daughters bodies. One mother said, "My only wish is that my daughter be remembered as the sweet and good person that she always was."
- Five Brooklyn Heights townhouses were sold for just over $7.2 million (a low price because many of the buildings have rent-stabilized tenants).
