Giants Look To Go 4-0

2008_10_giantscincy.jpgThe Giants went from a good team to the best team in the NFL without playing a game. With the Cowboys loss last week, all the experts are jumping on the New York bandwagon. Now the question is can the Giants live up to the hype?

On paper at least, the Giants shouldn’t have much trouble with the Seahawks. Seattle is good at running the ball, but not good at passing it. That should change this week with the return of Deion Branch and Bobby Engram. For their part, the Giants will be without their top receiver, Plaxico Burress, who is suspended for the game.

Domenik Hixon has shown flashes of potential, but asking him to replace Burress is a tall order. Add in the fact that the Giants are typically terrible after their bye week and this will be a ballgame. Seattle has a good run defense, but expect New York to attack it with “Earth, Wind and Fire”. It will be a tough, physical game, but the Giants buck the trend of their 4-15 record after a bye week and win a squeaker.

New York's real team, The Buffalo Bills, are already 4-0.
