Okay, We Get that A-Rod is Really Rich

2008_10_arodmoney.jpgThe Post really hearts A-Rod (gossip)! Yesterday it was the "budding bromance" with Tom Brady, and today there are two items about the Yankees slugger. First, apparently Alex Rodriguez had dinner with Madonna at Dos Caminos with some male friends (the two, rumored to have some sort of relationship, arrived separately and left separately). Second, he was seen at Bar Pitti on Sixth Avenue, having lunch with a "sexy brunette" -- and he used a "use[d] a $100 bill as a napkin." Well, that's what happen when your yearly salary is as much as the entire Marlins payroll.

More like A-Hole, am I right?

Am I?

is there a link to that $100 napkin photo?

^It's in the Bar Pitti link.

Is he waxing his eyebrows? A-Rod is looking kinda fey.

thanks, I clicked on the Madonna NYP link thinking it would be in that.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry after seeing that. I can't cry because I don't have a stack of C-notes.

Ew. Money is so filthy. Who in their right mind put it anywhere near their face?

If it were me, I would use an Hermes scarf as a tissue - maybe even throw them away everytime I blew my nose. It would be hygenic and yet still show the world I was rolling in it.

He is the metro-iest metro of all.

He had dinner with Madonna? That clearly makes him a heterosexual and should put any rumors of bromance to rest.

Who cares? I use C-notes to wipe my ass.

Or maybe he was using the bill to try to block the paparazzi from seeing what he was saying. Yeah but that would make more sense and be less sensational. Baseball players put their faces in their mitts to block the camera from picking up what they are saying. How has the NY Post not picked up on that and said they love the smell of leather?

The NY Post has really turned into a wanna be National Enquirer. They may be even worse because they recycle other peoples stories rather than be creative enough to make up their own trash.

And after "resining up" Brady's bat, he just spits it into a $100 bill.
