Manuel used the term "gangsta" in jest to describe Santana's performance while injured -- why not only use that word for no reason, but incorrectly?

While admitting that the manager is, of course, not solely responsible for his team's record: If the Mets had won games under Willie Randolph at the same rate they did under Jerry Manuel (55-38 = 0.591 winning percentage), they would have won 96 games, which would have been enough to win the division by 4. Just food for thought, for those who think Jerry is automatically not good enough because the Mets did not make the playoffs.
