wow, i was at the echo & the bunnymen show - mostly because "ocean rain" is an all time favorite album. i never followed the band much after their '87 self titled album either, but the show wednesday night was amazing. yes, we had to sit through 45 minutes of newer stuff mixed with a few classics, but when they regrouped with the orchestra to perform the album "ocean rain," it sounded awesome. ...and i was up in the last tiers - it wasn't empty! where were you sitting? probably had nice front row passes...and you didn't even appreciate it. typical.
