It appears that Jerry Manuel and the Mets have reached an agreement on a 2 year extension. What the Mets need is what they got with Keith in 1983: a veteran player who has won before and knows what it takes. That, and another starter, 3 guys for the pen, a left fielder, and a second baseman. www.forgotten-ny.com
