Term limits were put in place for a reason, Quinn may not run, but she's not going away either, and sorry, we just can't have a mayor weiner.

OF COURSE she's not going to run for mayor this time around. That's part of the deal. Duh. She wrangles the Council for Bloomberg into passing a term limits amendment (not that hard since most of them would have to hit the bricks otherwise), he signs it, he gets to be mayor for four more years and she get to be Speaker for four more years. Is this really news to anyone? Doesn't the iguana in that photo look like he's found his mommy?

Bloomberg is turning into a douche. There is term limits for a reason. We need fresh faces in politics. Not the same guy running the show for 30+ years.

Quinn voted for rezoning and removal of landmark status to pave the way for real estate developers. She recently join this tenant movement to salvage her image.

I commend Quinn for her work regarding tenant's rights in NYC. She believes in keep communities together. Other than that, she can be a knucklehead. But, she's not out yet. The term limit is still law. Why can't Bloomberg bow out gracefully?

Quinn is the worst speaker in history. She has used her slush to buy votes in the council. There is no democracy. I hope attorney general Garcia put her ass in jail. She doesn't permit bills to be hear unless she agrees to them. This is sickening.
